Senior React Developer

The Edenred Digital Center (EDC) in Bucharest, Romania is Edenred Group's largest Digital hub for strategic Tech projects.

Context/ ROLE

As part of the company’s digital transformation, Edenred has launched a major

program together with Paytech.

Paytech is a one-stop-shop for payment programmes. We are a MasterCard Principal Member and a full e‐money issuer, offering a range of services. We are unique as we process from a single global in-house processing platform and offering integration with Apple, Google and Samsung Pay services. We provide services to major international clients and consumers across a wide range of industries, including retail, finance, travel, telco and FINTECH.

We are looking for a Senior React Developer, to be a member of the Paytech Team.

Position SCOPE & Key Responsibilities

Reporting to Software Engineering Manager, the Senior React Developer would be responsible for managing a number of developers as well as contributing to the development activities in Bucharest in-line with the company’s goals and objectives.

Key result areas:

· Technical leadership of the design and delivery of web portals

· Ensures the highest quality through appropriate functional and non-functional testing, including device, browser, accessibility testing

· Responsible for the delivery output and outcomes of the team

· Actively supports, evolves and improves the portal product(s)

· Ensures direct reports are appropriately skilled, challenged and supported

Key tasks:

• React web application development expertise with 4+ years’ experience
• Proven experience in designing and implementing solutions from concept through implementation
• Demonstrated experience in container technologies
• Experience in cloud environments like AWS or Azure
• Practical experience in Agile frameworks (Scrum) and tools (JIRA)
• International experience or working in international projects is a strong plus
• Ability to work in a team and self-motivation

Required skills & profile

Technical

Significant commercial experience of

• React
• Optimizing web applications in areas such as performance, security and resilience
• CSS, UX/UK design principles
• RESTful API development
• TDD & Agile practices
• DevOps culture and practices

Experience of the following would be beneficial:

• AWS services
• Front-end testing tools for cross-browser/device

• Higher Diploma / Degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
