We're currently working with a pioneering tech company based in Stockholm that’s tackling one of the biggest challenges in the energy sector: integrating renewable energy sources into the grid in a scalable and sustainable way and they’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join their growing team.

Responsibilities

• You’ll work on scalable backend systems that directly support the transition to a greener grid.
• You will take responsibility for key architectural decisions, utilizing cutting-edge AI tools and methods in your daily workflow to drive productivity and innovation.
• The team is solving real-world problems using AI, cloud infrastructure, and cutting-edge DevOps practices.
• You’ll have a say in architectural decisions and collaborate closely with product and operations teams.
• It’s a chance to work on hardware-integrated systems, sometimes even getting out into nature to see your work in action

Requirements

• Strong expertise in software development with a focus on scalability
• Experience building production-grade systems; proficiency in Go and Python is a big plus.
• Strong experience with container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
• Experience deploying scalable solutions on cloud platforms.
• Passion for renewable energy and innovative technology solutions.
• Azure or any cloud platform (beneficial)
• Background in IoT, real-time telemetry or energy market integration (beneficial)
• Machine learning/optimisation algorithms (beneficial)
