About this role:

We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer, In this role, you will lead our DevOps processes and technical infrastructure including CD/CI and deployment tooling. If you are passionate about problem-solving and thrive on turning ideas into impactful solutions, we’d love to meet you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes for multiple applications that work together in a distributed setup.
• Develop and manage tools for infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Build and maintain secure and high-performance infrastructures that can serve both from cloud (for multiple clients) and on-premise (for specific clients).
• Lead the development teams in setting up their CD/CI practices and optimizing their Docker and Helm configurations.
• Understanding of various aspects, features, and limitations of containerized and distributed systems, including networking, security, storage, performance, and ability to direct the team on optimizing the existing system towards these aspects.
• Help the client teams in installing, configuring, and maintaining the applications in their on-premise environments. Writing technical documentation for both internal and client teams on installing and configuring the application from the devops perspective.
• Improve and optimize IT operations across the company.
• Proactively generate solutions for troubleshooting and performance enhancement.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Math Engineering, MIS, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 6 years of strong experience in DevOps processes, analyzing critical systems and determining suggestions for improvement of the system.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience on the following:
• Containerized environments including Docker and Podman.
• Kubernetes environments including OpenShift and Rancher.
• Deployment frameworks and tools including Helm, Docker registries (such as Harbor) and deployment controllers (such as ArgoCD).
• Ability to work directly on the virtual and/or bare-metal servers, and hands-on experience with administering Linux-based systems.
• Experience on cloud providers such as Azure, Google Cloud, AWS is a huge plus.
• Knowledge of project management, software development lifecycle (SDLC) techniques and various industry standard development practices.
• Requires minimal supervision and is a self-starter
• Solution oriented and analytical nature with the ability to solve complex technical issues with simple and sustainable solutions.
