What we do in Intermediary

The Intermediary organization helps tens of thousands of real estate agents in Germany, France and Belgium deliver outstanding service to property owners and seekers along all transaction stages. We provide tools which allow agents to build a strong online presence, digitize their workflows, and amplify their local expertise and relationships with access to AVIV’s huge user base and treasure trove of data.

What You Can Expect

• Together with your colleagues, design and develop the new generation of our successful real estate portals in an agile environment based on Node.js, Type and Javascript and Amazon Web Services.
• We create the basis for innovative products and for the next generation of property search.
• We put great emphasis on the automation of build, deployment and release processes as well as on quality through code reviews, tests and analysis.
• We share our knowledge and experience and actively support each other to continuously improve our technical level.
• Can you do more than type and javascript? We are open for new technologies and give the opportunity to get involved in company wide initiatives.
• Work in B2C and e-commerce environments, and your successes are immediately visible in key business metrics.
  
  

Qualifications

About you

• Expertise in developing scalable, cloud-based applications with Typescript and Node.js.
• Proficiency in front-end application development with React and its ecosystem.
• Experience in design, implementation, testing and operating great software.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (ideally with AWS) and one of the modern Infrastructure-as-Code approaches.
• Openness to new technologies and development approaches; passion for modern technologies is what makes you stand out.
• Interest in creating the next generation of our successful products with us and bring all your knowledge and skills to play a part in it.
• Ability to show high commitment in the continuous improvement of the products and team maturity.
• Attention to setting high technical standards and are willingness to openly share your knowledge with your colleagues.
• Experience working in an agile, cross-functional environment and like to work on your own responsibility.
