Business Analyst

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as an IT Business Analyst.

Principal Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business user and software teams to determine best IT solution
• Gather business requirements, perform detailed analysis and document functional specifications
• Draw workflows and create mockups to visualize business requirements
• Evaluate and approve technical specifications. Clearly present and demonstrate technical concepts to business users.
• Define test conditions, prepare test cases, support UAT and track defects.
• Get involved in deployment planning and execution
• Create knowledge base for owned services; prepare guides and support documents for both end-users and IT support teams
• Work closely with project managers to prioritize backlog and plan developments.
• Having knowledge of Open Banking developments
• Involvement in FAST developments such as Request to Pay, Secure Payment Transactions, Easy Address (Kolay Adres) enhancements, and cross-border money transfer integrations
• Participation in integration projects with e-commerce platforms
• Taking part in API Gateway development processes
• Tracking the software infrastructure team’s projects and requests, and contributing to development processes

Desired Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related fields
• 3+ years of experience as Business / System Analyst, preferably in banking and finance industry
• Experience in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle from requirement gathering through deployment and support.
• Strong analytical and technical skills to translate business requirements into technical terms including good SQL knowledge
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills with customer oriented approach
• Highly self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal customers and development teams and to present relevant information.
