Software Engineer

Rust Developer – Autonomous Systems (Dubai, Onsite) | 25,000-45,000 AED

We are looking for experienced Rust developers who want to work on real-world applications in drones, robotics, and autonomous marine systems. This is a full-time onsite role in Dubai, five days a week in the office, working as part of a small, highly skilled international team.

The role

• Build Rust-based software for autonomous platforms (air, land, and marine).
• Work on control systems for navigation, mission planning, and sensor integration.
• Contribute to AI/ML features like computer vision, pathfinding, and object detection.
• Optimise Rust code for embedded environments.
• Collaborate closely with hardware engineers to integrate software with electronics.
• Focus on safety, reliability, and testing of systems.

What we need

• Strong proficiency in Rust.
• Experience with embedded systems.
• Good understanding of autonomous systems and control theory.
• Practical experience with AI/ML frameworks for embedded or edge devices.
• Familiarity with sensors (GPS, IMUs, LiDAR, cameras).
• Confident troubleshooting complex systems.

It would help if you also have

• Experience with PX4, MAVLink, or ROS.
• Hands-on experience with drones or autonomous vehicles.
• Knowledge of computer vision and embedded electronics.
