JD.com is seeking a Compliance Officer for our stablecoin business to be responsible for the implementation of risk-based AML/CFT procedures in line with AML/CFT Code, monitor performance, address issues and report to the board of the operator in the UAE. This role is full-time based in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) policies aligned with Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) Financial Services and Markets Regulations and UAE Federal AML laws.
• Ensure timely filing of suspicious activity reports (SARs) to the UAE Financial Intelligence Unit.
• Manage real-time transaction monitoring, policy implementation.
• Leverage third-party tools for efficiency.
• Implement blockchain analytics tools to monitor transactions and flag high-risk wallets.
• Conduct Money Laundering (ML) and Terrorist Financing (TF) risk assessments for new products and geographies.
• Lead the AML/CFT component of the ADGM license application, including document preparation and regulator engagement.
• Train staff on red-flag indicators and regulatory updates.
• Submit quarterly AML compliance reports to the Board and Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, or related field; CAMS/ICA certification required.
• 5+ years in AML roles within crypto, fintech, or banking, with direct engagement with regulators of ADGM.
• Proficiency in Chainalysis / Elliptic, knowledge of FATF Travel Rule and ADGM’s crypto asset guidelines.
• Detail-oriented, strong analytical and communication skills.
