Android Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Android applications used on handheld devices in the field.

Refactor and enhance the backend architecture using Kotlin and AWS services.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition during the backend rewrite.

Optimize application performance for reliability and scalability in real-world conditions.

Implement best practices for security, data handling, and cloud-based integrations.

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong experience with Java and Kotlin for Android development.

Proficiency in AWS services (e.g., Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway).

Experience with Java, Spring boot.

React Native experience good to have.

Familiarity with Android SDK, Jetpack, and UI frameworks.

Experience working on applications designed for handheld field devices.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues in dynamic environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in transitioning legacy applications from Java to Kotlin.

Knowledge of offline data synchronization and network optimization.

Understanding of mobile security best practices.
