Lead Fullstack Developer (JavaScript/TypeScript)

We are looking for the Lead Fullstack JavaScript/TypeScript Developer to join a fast-paced, security-driven startup. Our client is building browser extension-based solutions that help enterprises discover and manage all third-party SaaS applications used by employees. The company is expanding its R&D efforts and is looking for experienced engineers to drive critical development of cross-browser extensions and backend systems. This is an exciting opportunity to join early and have a major impact on a product that's shaping the future of SaaS security.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and ongoing maintenance of a multi-browser extension, including adapting existing Chromium-based features for Firefox and Safari
• Manage, mentor, and inspire the Browser Extension Team, fostering professional growth and collaboration
• Work closely with product and backend teams to seamlessly integrate chat providers into the extension
• Handle tenant-specific requirements like silent-login and customized distributions
• Optimize the extension distribution strategy, potentially migrating from Chrome Web Store to a private distribution server
• Ensure a secure, scalable, and high-performance implementation on both the FE and BE

Requirements:

• 5+ years of extensive experience in full-stack development
• At least 1 year of experience as a Team Lead in a fast-paced, product-focused environment
• Proven experience with browser internals and client-side technologies
• Hands-on experience in developing browser extensions (Chrome, Firefox, Safari)
• Familiarity with WXT framework (or ability and willingness to learn it quickly)
• Strong backend experience using NestJS
• Proficient in TypeScript and JavaScript
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide a development team
• Ability to serve as a technical domain expert on full stack development
• Fluent in English (at least Upper-Intermediate level both written and spoken)
• Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
