Data Analyst

What You'll Be Working On

Collect, validate, and reconcile data based on requests, ensuring accuracy across multiple sources
Work with various data sources (PostgreSQL, Google BigQuery, Google Tables, XLSX, CSV, JSON)
Create and update dashboards in Tableau, including setup of filters and parameters
Update and maintain Python functions in Google Cloud Scheduler
Maintain and update internal dictionaries and documentation of existing analytics infrastructure
Assistance in describing financial processes
Create, manage, and track tasks in Jira
Perform ad hoc tasks: performing one-time tasks for other teams, helping senior analysts complete tasks

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE

2+ years of experience in data analyst role
Strong proficiency in SQL (queries, SELECT, JOIN, UNION, GROUP BY, filters, aggregation functions, experience with window functions is a plus)
Proficiency in Tableau (preferred) or Power BI
Strong skills in Google Sheets / Excel, including advanced functions (LOOKUP, IF, SUMPRODUCT, etc.)
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling data
Experience with Python is a plus; (NumPy, Pandas, REST APIs): data collection, filtering, calculations, loops, and functions
Strong documentation and process description skills
Experience in financial institutions is a plus
Fluency in russian and English (B2)
