ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join the team in Vilnius, supporting the development of a modern data platform for the banking sector. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a transformative journey, where you'll help build a modern data platform and play a key role in enabling essential reporting and data analytics capabilities.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Build reports and analytics using the internal data platform to meet regulatory and business needs.
• Contribute to the creation of data products, incorporating them into banking reporting and marketplace solutions.
• Develop secure, scalable services for data access within and beyond the Savings and Investment area.
• Collaborate on and execute the technical roadmap for migrating on-premises functionality to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Support the technical strategy to enhance data availability across Custody & Investment Solutions.
• Work closely with architects, product owners, and developers to achieve project goals.
  
  
  

WHAT WE EXPECT:

• Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, such as BigQuery, Dataform, Dataflow, and Cloud Functions.
• Proficient programming skills in Python.
• Strong SQL knowledge for data manipulation and querying.
• Experience with version control tools like GitLab or GitHub.
• Familiarity with Tableau or Looker for data visualization.
• Understanding of Terraform for cloud infrastructure management.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and data quality management.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD practices to support smooth development workflows.
