About the engagement:

Green Light are looking for a Data Scientist to join our client for an upcoming project. We are onboarding a team of to help analyse, build and utilise data sets and generate useful outcomes for the end customer.


The Role

The Data Scientist role involves working at the customer site alongside a senior member of our client’s team. You will represent the customer and as a result will gain valuable insight into how our customer conducts Engineering Changes, Configuration Management, Asset Management and Sustainment activities, plus many other aspects of their business. The work is specifically on an Azure AI environment and required to support Azure Data Fabric and Informatica technologies to facilitate seamless data integration and advanced analytics.


To be successful in this role you will need strong interpersonal skills, team orientated, a keen eye for detail and the curiosity to find out why things are failing, how they can be resolved and how can the customers get more benefit to their business from our solutions.


Essential Requirements

  • Data modelling and data analysis
  • Strong software engineering and coding skills, ideally in a data intensive environment
  • Informs strategy and architecture through cutting edge research and industry best practice knowledge
  • Influences senior stakeholders through deep technical expertise, customer/domain knowledge and vision and objective,
  • Building and developing moderate volume/complexity data pipelines into a production environment
  • Leads the translation of visualisation designs into physical solutions
  • Hands-on experience with Descriptive, Diagnostic, Predictive, and Prescriptive Analytics.
  • Ability to strongly advocate technical positions while still appreciating alternative proposals


Desirable Requirements

  • Developing Python scripts for data cleansing, analysis & modelling
  • Azure AI Foundry
  • Azure AI Search, Translator, Speech, Language, Vision, Content
  • Azure Fabric Data Science, Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos, Azure Data Fabric
  • Industry certifications (e.g., Azure Data Scientist Associate) preferred
