Full-Stack Developer

I’m helping Scott Street Software find a top candidate to join their team full-time for the role of Full-Stack Developer.

You’ll build and deliver custom AI-powered software solutions for diverse global clients remotely.

Compensation:

USD 25 - 40/hour

Responsibilities and more:

Core Responsibilities:

* Lead and drive multiple custom software projects simultaneously from conception to deployment.

* Translate non-technical client requirements into technical specifications and working software solutions.

* Scope technical requirements and make autonomous technical and product decisions when working with incomplete or evolving requirements.

* Build and maintain full-stack applications using our core tech stack (Next.js, React, Vercel, Neon PostgreSQL).

* Write high-quality, maintainable code across multiple concurrent projects.

* Leverage AI development tools (particularly Claude Code) extensively to accelerate development cycles and improve code quality.

* Flex between different projects based on priorities and deadlines.

Required Skills & Experience:

* Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

* Experience with PostgreSQL and database design.

* Proven track record of independently delivering full-stack applications from start to finish.

* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work through ambiguous requirements.

* Self-directed work style with high ownership mentality.

* Strong experience with or enthusiasm for AI-assisted development workflows.

* Fluent English communication (written and verbal).

* Availability for partial overlap with US business hours.
