We’re looking for a Software Engineer with strong Java expertise to join a dynamic engineering team building scalable, reliable systems.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is looking for their next career move, with potential to develop in a fintech, heavily involved in Cyber Security. You will work with modern tool sets and have opportunity to upskill in Security tools.

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java/J2EE.
• Apply your expertise across the full software development life cycle – from analysis and design through to execution.
• Write efficient Oracle queries and develop robust unit and integration tests.
• Participate in design and code reviews, sharing insights and ensuring quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, identifying dependencies, risks, and opportunities.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years programming experience with Java/J2EE.
• 2+ years programming with Oracle.
• Experience with systems engineering and backend development principles.
• Strong knowledge of source code repositories (GitHub, ClearCase).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Autosys, Dynatrace, Splunk).
• Bonus: Experience with SailPoint, Hibernate, Web Services, Cloud architecture, or UNIX/Windows scripting.
