Senior .NET Full-stack Developer for Industrial Risk Systems

About the role

In this role you will be a part of IT Industrial Risk Systems that develops systems for our underwriters and risk engineers within If Industrial. IT Industrial Risk Systems consists of three agile development teams. Each team consists of both software developers and quality assurance engineers that works together as a cross-functional agile team. The teams work in close collaboration with both product owners on the business side and architects to ensure that we deliver the right things in the right way.

Solving the “business need” is the most important goal for us (the team). We enjoy creating exceptional tools/solutions/software for business. Agile way of working and logical thinking are “tools” what we use daily. The team that we are recruiting for is fully located in Riga.

What are you going to do?

• You will be a senior developer working with other experienced colleagues within a cross functional agile development team that delivers great value to our users every sprint.
• Develop & support complex business solutions used by the most important companies in Nordics and thousands of clients globally.

What do we expect from you?

Must have:

• At least 5 years’ experience in .NET software development
• Knowledge of C# programming language and .NET Core / React / Entity Framework / MSSQL.
• Basic understanding of planet Azure
• Experience in estimating development effort
• High technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
• Passion about what you do and know how to write high-quality code
• Day-to-day responsibilities require a good/excellent level of English and Latvian to communicate with clients and colleagues from Latvia and other countries
• Self-motivation and the ability to work on feedback and deliver the best possible outcome within the given timeframe and scope
• Team player spirit with a natural appetite for learning, challenging yourself and sharing knowledge

Nice to have:

• Experience in MUI React Component library
• Azure DevOps release pipeline setup/management skills
• Azure Certifications
• Microservices Architecture knowledge
