Embedded Software Team Lead

We are looking for an experienced leader to manage a team of 6–7 embedded systems programmers working on new product development for mass production (production volumes > 1 million units). The team develops new solutions based on existing project platforms, while other teams handle product maintenance. The Team Leader will ensure the team’s effective operation, cooperation with other departments and on-time project delivery.

You will be responsible for the following projects:

• Lead the embedded systems programming team working on new product development projects, ensuring efficiency, motivation, and high performance;
• Work in a department alongside other team leads responsible for mass production testing processes, electronics development and product support;
• Organize work processes, allocate tasks and ensure deadlines and commitments are met;
• Collaborate with technical leads in making technical decisions;
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding and professional development of team members;
• Ensure effective cooperation with other team leads, programmers and engineers within the same department, as well as with other departments such as Quality Assurance (QA), Mechanical Engineering, IT and Process Engineering;
• Contribute to process improvement and optimization initiatives;
• Represent the team in meetings with internal and external partners.

We hope that you have:

• Experience leading embedded systems development teams for mass production projects (advantage);
• Understanding of embedded systems programming (C language, bare-metal environment, ST32L476 and Renesas RL78 microcontrollers) (advantage);
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies, particularly in firmware development sprints;
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire and engage the team;
• Good command of English, with the ability to discuss technical topics with external partners;
• Experience in process improvement and optimization (advantage).
• Experience using Azure DevOps (or similar).
  
  
  

Salary

From 5000 to 6000 €/month gross

Salary depends on your competencies and is negotiable.
