Senior Agile Coach
We are supporting a global organisation seeking multiple Senior Agile Coaches.
6 months initially – 40 hours per week – up to €120 per hour, 4 days onsite per week in the Amsterdam office

Role Overview
As a Senior Agile Coach, you will play a pivotal role in embedding the foundational elements of our transformation programme into day-to-day practices. You will partner with trainers and fellow coaches to reinforce training, guide teams through adoption, and drive measurable improvements across multiple business units.
You will work with teams in focused 12-week coaching cycles, supporting them in translating agile values, principles, and mindsets into meaningful outcomes. Alongside training delivery, you will design coaching plans, measure progress, and ensure sustained impact beyond your engagement. In addition, you will contribute to leadership development, organisational alignment, and the overall success of the transformation programme.

Role Overview
As a Senior Agile Coach, you will play a pivotal role in embedding the foundational elements of our transformation programme into day-to-day practices. You will work with teams in focused 12-week coaching cycles, supporting them in translating agile values, principles, and mindsets into meaningful outcomes. Alongside training delivery, you will design coaching plans, measure progress, and ensure sustained impact beyond your engagement. In addition, you will contribute to leadership development, organisational alignment, and the overall success of the transformation programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with organisational transformation coaches to co-design and deliver executive leadership training.
- Support the change programme by developing communications, training materials, and templates.
- Partner with teams and leaders to embed baseline agile practices, ensuring theory translates into practical, measurable improvements.
- Define success measures, track progress, and evidence coaching impact across multiple teams and tracks.
- Lead 12-week coaching cycles with up to three teams at a time, supporting their adoption of agile practices.
- Advance team and leadership capabilities beyond the baseline, tailoring development to evolving needs.
- Work closely with trainers and internal agile coaches to ensure alignment and continuity between training and coaching.
- Actively participate in the wider coaching community, sharing insights, challenges, and successes to continuously raise standards.
- Partner with product managers, engineering managers, and senior leadership to align coaching with strategic priorities.
- Work closely with the transformation programme’s core team and change leads.
- Collaborate daily with product, engineering, and internal agile coaches.
- Occasionally engage with external experts and people teams to strengthen coaching impact.
- 5–8 years of agile coaching experience (or equivalent experience in Product, Engineering, or Delivery roles).
- Proven ability to design and execute coaching plans with measurable outcomes.
- Strong communication and content creation skills aligned to change management best practices.
- Experience delivering engaging training sessions using a “Training from the Back of the Room” approach.
- Proficiency with scaled facilitation techniques (e.g., Liberating Structures).
- Demonstrated ability to assess knowledge uptake and adjust techniques accordingly.
- Deep understanding of agile values, principles, frameworks, and practices.
- Strong facilitation, training, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Background in Product and Engineering is highly advantageous.
