What You'll Be Doing

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging user interfaces and ensuring a seamless user experience across our web applications. You will collaborate closely with back-end developers and designers to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and implement responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Utilize modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) to build dynamic web applications.
- Work with Liferay DXP to create and customize themes, layouts, and portlets.
- Ensure that front-end components integrate smoothly with Liferay DXP back-end services.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design wireframes and mockups into functional user interfaces.
- Work closely with back-end developers to define and consume RESTful APIs.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Implement best practices for front-end performance and accessibility.
- Conduct thorough testing of applications across various browsers and devices.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues to ensure a smooth user experience.
- Maintain clear documentation of code, processes, and design decisions.
- Contribute to project documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in front-end development.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with at least one major front-end framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Familiarity with Liferay DXP is a strong plus.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS).
- Knowledge of build tools and task runners (e.g., Webpack, Gulp).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
- Liferay certification or relevant training is a plus.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
