Role: Azure DevOps SME (Windows & Linux)

Location: Warsaw, Poland

Experience: 5 to 14 Years relevant experience

Work Mode: Remote with occasional travel to office

Primary Skills: Azure DevOps Service (Proficiency in Azure Boards, Pipelines, Test Plans, and Artifacts to manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle) , Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Expertise in automating build, test, and deployment processes using tools like Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (ARM templates, Terraform for automating infrastructure provisioning and management)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Windows and Linux environments to streamline our software development and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and cloud infrastructure (Azure), and should be able to manage both Linux and Windows-based systems efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Administer and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers, ensuring system health and performance.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Monitor systems and infrastructure using tools such as Dynatrace or Cloud-native tools.
• Collaborate with developers and QA to ensure smooth deployments and rapid release cycles.
• Manage cloud environments (Azure) and ensure high availability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Maintain security best practices across systems and pipelines.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with both Windows Server (Active Directory, owerShell) and Linux (Red Hat/CentOS/Ubuntu).
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools – Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Scripting knowledge – Bash, PowerShell, Python (any).
• Configuration management – Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Experience with version control systems (Git/GitHub/Bitbucket).
• Working knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (ELK Stack, Grafana, CloudWatch).
• Familiarity with cloud services (Azure).
• Knowledge about software lifecycle and understanding about project development

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Relevant certifications: Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, or similar.
• Experience in agile development environments and DevSecOps practices.
