Data Scientist (short-term)

We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist with experience in NLP and foundation model fine-tuning to join our team. You'll work on deploying and optimizing LLMs with a focus on real-world applications like OCR, NER, and entity linking.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Natural Language Processing, particularly:
  • Fine-tuning and optimizing foundation models.
  • Task-oriented NLP applications (OCR, NER, entity linking).
  • Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in building APIs using FastAPI.
  • Practical experience deploying and tracing models using Langfuse, Langchain, and Langgraph.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based model hosting, especially AWS Bedrock

Responsibilities

  • Develop and fine-tune NLP models for OCR, named entity recognition (NER), and entity linking tasks.
  • Work with foundation models to optimize, fine-tune, and deploy them for task-specific applications.
  • Build and maintain FastAPI-based services to expose model functionality.
  • Integrate and manage model workflows using Langchain, Langgraph, and Langfuse.
  • Utilize AWS Bedrock to leverage and deploy applicable models at scale.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure model reliability, traceability, and performance
