We are hiring for the position of DevSecOps Engineer for a 1 Year contract.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer with a strong background in Vulnerability Management.

This role will focus on integrating security into the DevOps lifecycle, ensuring our applications and infrastructure are secure by design.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern DevSecOps practices and tools, along with a deep understanding of vulnerability assessment and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain DevSecOps practices across development, testing, and deployment pipelines.
• Integrate security tools into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
• Conduct static and dynamic application security testing (SAST/DAST) using tools like SonarQube and OWASP ZAP.
• Perform regular vulnerability assessments and manage remediation efforts.
• Automate security checks and processes within the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices are followed.
• Monitor, triage, and respond to security vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
• Maintain and enhance security policies, standards, and best practices.
• Generate reports and dashboards using Jira and other project management tools to track vulnerabilities and security issues.
• Stay current with emerging security threats and vulnerabilities and proactively implement mitigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in DevSecOps and/or Vulnerability Management.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or similar.
• Experience with security tools like SonarQube, OWASP ZAP, and other SAST/DAST tools.
• Strong knowledge of vulnerability management processes and tools.
• Familiarity with project management and issue tracking tools like Jira.
