Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Game Developer in Dubai, UAE. The Game Developer will be responsible for game programming, gameplay programming, and programming tasks. They will also be involved in object-oriented programming (OOP) and game design.

Game Design and Development: Collaborate with game designers to understand game concepts and implement gameplay mechanics.

Programming: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in languages such as C++, C#, or JavaScript.

Engine Utilization: Use game development engines like Unity, Cocos.

Feature Implementation: Develop and integrate features such as gameplay mechanics, user interfaces, AI, and multiplayer systems.

Bug Fixing and Optimization: Identify and fix bugs, optimize game performance, and ensure smooth gameplay experiences.

Collaboration: Work closely with artists, designers, and other team members to ensure the game meets high-quality standards.

Testing: Conduct thorough testing of games to ensure functionality, performance, and stability.

Documentation: Maintain documentation of game development processes, code, and design decisions.

Qualifications

• Game Programming, Gameplay Programming, and Programming skills
• Great in programming languages such as C++, C#, or JavaScript.
• Experience with game engines like Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar.
• Knowledge of 2D and 3D game development.
• Understanding of gameplay mechanics, physics, and AI.
• Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Understanding of Game Design principles
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on game development projects
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or related field
• Experience with game engines and development tools is a plus
