Core responsibilities:

Technical Leadership

• Own and evolve the AI-first stack (Python, TypeScript, React)
• Architect robust infra for model training, data pipelines, and scalable deployment
• Drive implementation of LLM features, continuous learning, and evaluation
• Set engineering standards across testing, observability, and DevOps

Product Collaboration

• Lead the tech and Co-develop the product with the team
• Translate enterprise client needs into technical solutions with fast feedback cycles
• Participate in customer discovery and enterprise onboarding discussions

Team Building

• Recruit and lead top-tier engineers across backend, ML, and infra
• Build a culture of ownership, speed, and high technical bar
• Design engineering org structure, process, and rituals from day one

Strategic Tech Vision

• Define and evolve the technical roadmap aligned with business priorities
• Make early buy-vs-build decisions around AI models, tooling, infrastructure, and security.
• Stay ahead of emerging LLM tooling, privacy/regulatory concerns (SOC2, GDPR, etc.), and enterprise IT requirements.

Requirements:

Technical Proficiency (Must have)

• min of 5+ years of engineering experience, 2–3+ in leadership roles
• Deep backend + infra chops (Python, TS/Node, AWS/GCP, Docker/K8s)
• Track record shipping ML/LLM pipelines end-to-end
• Experience building for enterprise clients (auth, SLAs, GDPR/SOC2/etc.)
• Hired, mentored, and scaled engineering teams from scratch
• Strong communication and product collaboration skills with 2–3+ years leading teams

Bonus Points

• Startup/founder and/or scale-up experience; scaled 0→15+ engineers
• Fluency with LLM tools: RAG, LangChain, LoRA, etc.
• Hands-on with Trustworthy AI principles and enterprise-grade infra
• Launched revenue-generating pilots or PoCs and subsequently SaaS software
