👥 Your role in the team

• As a Nevis Solution Consultant, you serve as a bridge between the technical aspects of the Nevis security solutions and clients' business needs.
• You are critical in helping clients make informed decisions about their security infrastructure and play a key role in the sales process, ensuring that the proposed solutions align with the client's security requirements and objectives.
• You are a hands-on technology enthusiast and understand computer networks and protocols, an expert on Identity and Access Management solutions, and you like to dive into complex configurations, setups, and code occasionally.
• In your daily work, you will be the trusted advisor in the security products and services offered by Nevis.
• You will understand the offerings in-depth, including their features, capabilities, and limitations.
• Work with customers and partners to understand their requirements and align those with Nevis' capabilities.
• Design tailored security solutions that address the customer needs.
• You need to be creative and innovative in developing effective and cost-efficient solutions.
• Perform live demonstrations and workshops of Nevis security products and services to show clients how they work and how they can benefit from them.
• Conduct proofs-of-concept (PoCs), including hands-on work and coordination between customers, partners, and Nevis.
• Assist in preparing detailed proposals (RFP, RFI, RFQ) that outline the recommended security solutions from a technical point of view.
• Provide input and feedback to Engineering and Product Management based on your real-life experience.
• Build reusable materials that can be shared with the Nevis community.
• Exchange knowledge with customers, partners, and other Nevis professionals.

Qualifications

• A good understanding of Identity and Access Management technologies and protocols such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML2, Single Sign-On, and LDAP.
• A good understanding of computer networks, including load balancers, web application firewalls, DNS, HTTPS, SSL/TLS.
• A basic understanding of SQL and relational databases such as MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.
• Communication skills in German as a mother tongue or at least C1+.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience working as a Solution Consultant or Solution/Software Architect with a solid previous engineering background.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services.
• Some experience with development languages or technologies such as Java, JavaScript, NodeJS, Spring Boot, Flutter, Android/iOS native development is a plus.
• Experience in a customer-facing role is a plus.

Education

• For this position, you ideally have a Master's or Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related engineering discipline.
