We are seeking an experienced Backend Engineer Node.js) to work on a social web and app platform for photographers of all skill levels. The project belongs to a portfolio of leading digital brands with a combined global user base of 44 million monthly active users.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side applications using NestJS
- Create and support core libraries for microservices
- Evaluate systems architecture and recommend improvements
- Provide technical guidance in software design with stakeholders
- Collaborate with teams including product, DevOps, and QA
- Continuously monitor system performance and address bottlenecks
Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of practical backend experience in software development
- Extensive knowledge of Node.js and server-side frameworks, with a preference for NestJS
- In-depth understanding of microservices architecture
- Familiarity with asynchronous programming, including its nuances and solutions
- Experience with scalable AWS application hosting, including EC2, ECS, S3, and SQS
- Solid understanding of database schemas (Scylla/Cassandra, MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch)
- Strong skills in designing and implementing Rest APIs
- Good grasp of scalability and performance factors
- Diverse and technically challenging projects

- For employees: 5500 EUR to 6600 EUR monthly (gross)
- For contractors: 36 EUR to 42 EUR per hour (plus VAT)
