Java Web Developer

Seeking an experienced software engineer with deep expertise in Java and system development, responsible for the full software lifecycle and secure, high-availability web infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of Java-based solutions for web/application servers (Apache httpd, JBoss EAP, WebLogic) on Linux and cloud platforms (OpenShift, IaaS/VM).
• Develop, document, and maintain architecture and security standards for internet-facing applications.
• Build and maintain Java/JavaEE components, including security modules and automated tests.
• Coordinate small teams, review deliverables, and manage technical decisions.
• Collaborate across development, infrastructure, and security teams; interact with vendor support.
• Support multiple major production deployments annually.

Required Skills & Experience

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, JavaEE, and web/app server configuration on Linux.
• Expertise in distributed, secure, and high-availability architectures.
• Knowledge of TLS/PKI and application security best practices.
• Excellent English and technical writing skills.
• Practical experience with: Linux, OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Helm, Git, IntelliJ/Eclipse, Maven, SSO (OpenID Connect), and public cloud (preferably GCP).
