Job Description

The Creative Services team is responsible for designing and developing a wide range of materials to support our artists' brands around the world. We are looking for an exceptional intern to join the team on a short-term basis. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to observe and assist in the day-to-day activities of the team.

The Role

The Intern, Creative Services will:

• Collaborate with the Creative Services team to conceptualize and design digital assets for domestic and international repertoire, websites, and social media content.
• Translate design concepts into user-friendly interfaces with a focus on UX/UI principles and best practices.
• Assist in the development and implementation of front-end web solutions using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
• Support the maintenance and optimization of the website, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design tools to enhance creative processes and outcomes.
• Other ad hoc duties as per department needs.
  
  

Ideal Candidate:

• A well-rounded portfolio showcasing creative projects, including web design, user interfaces, and coding samples.
• Completed a post-secondary or training program with a focus on Graphic Design, Web Development, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proficiency in UX/UI design principles, with experience using design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Sketch, or Figma.
• Strong coding skills with proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, WordPress, Shopify, and WCAG compliant practices is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Proactive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of the Canadian music landscape including record labels and independent artists.
