Senior iOS Engineer

My client is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise in Swift, a keen eye for detail, and experience delivering high-quality, user-friendly applications in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced iOS applications using Swift.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver scalable features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and fix bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues.
• Stay current with emerging iOS technologies and best practices.
• Contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping iOS applications.
• Strong proficiency in Swift (Objective-C knowledge a plus).
• Solid understanding of iOS frameworks such as UIKit, CoreData, Combine, and SwiftUI.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and integrating third-party SDKs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of modern architectural patterns (MVC, MVVM, VIPER, or Clean Architecture).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in performance optimisation and app store release processes.
• Knowledge of security best practices in mobile app development.
• Exposure to Kotlin Multiplatform, React Native, or Flutter.
• Prior experience in FinTech, HealthTech, or eCommerce domains.
