What You’ll Do
At Permutable AI, we’re building intelligent systems to automate market analysis using advanced NLP and multi-LLM frameworks. Our goal is to dramatically accelerate how financial information is processed, understood, and acted on, enabling faster, smarter decisions for financial analysts. As a small, ambitious startup, you’ll work directly with our founder and a core team of talented engineers to drive innovation.
What You’ll Do
- Design & Deploy production-grade LLM pipelines - from model training and evaluation through continuous monitoring and scaling.
- Build & Optimise AI models in Python: fine-tune state-of-the-art architectures on our in-house GPU cluster.
- Orchestrate Workflows with Apache Airflow: schedule, monitor, and maintain complex data and model pipelines.
- Engineer Cloud Services on AWS (Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, Redshift, etc.) and automate deployments using GitHub Actions & Pulumi.
- Collaborate & Brainstorm with our engineering team – we frequently communicate ideas to innovate, plan strategy and decide on next steps.
- Own Your Responsibilities: Your work will directly affect our product and be deployed into production.
- 2-3 years of professional AI/ML engineering experience (or equivalent).
- Python expert with strong software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with DevOps/ML Ops practices: CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions), containerisation (Docker), automated testing, and monitoring.
- Strong academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, Mathematics or a related field, ideally from a top tier university, Graduated in the last 4 years.
- Startup mindset: proactive, resourceful, ambitious, driven to innovate, eager to learn, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-moving environment.
- Bonus: hands-on experience with Apache Airflow, AWS services (especially Redshift, S3, ECS/EKS), and IaC tools like Pulumi.
- Hybrid Flexibility: Spend 2+ days/week in our Vauxhall hub.
- Real Responsibility: From day one, your contributions will influence our product’s performance and reach production quickly.
