Your new role

As the Senior Engineering Manager – Mobile Chapter Lead, you’ll lead a team of mobile engineers within the digital crew, Australia’s largest online retail stockbroker. You’ll play a key role in shaping mobile architecture, uplifting engineering practices and embedding AI capabilities into scalable investment solutions. This is a hands-on leadership role that spans development and operations, with a strong focus on mentoring, technical strategy and cross-team collaboration.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience leading high-performing engineering teams in mobile development (iOS and/or Android).
• Strong technical background across full-stack development, including ReactJS, GraphQL, .NET Core and AWS.
• Expertise in CI/CD, DevOps, microservices and cloud-native development.
• Exposure to AI/ML technologies and GenAI tools (e.g. AWS Bedrock, Cursor).
• Ability to influence architecture decisions and drive engineering transformation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership in agile environments.
• Passion for mentoring, coaching and fostering a psychologically safe team culture.
