Chief Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Business Analyst to lead the implementation and ongoing improvement of our AWS Landing Zone platform.

This position involves gathering insights from development teams, optimizing processes, developing thorough documentation, and providing user support, while effectively bridging technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with developers, platform engineers, and stakeholders to define and evaluate requirements for AWS Landing Zone workflows
Maintain process documentation in Confluence, covering onboarding steps, FAQs, how-to guides, and process maps
Use Jira to monitor issues, collect feedback, and manage enhancement requests for backlog organization
Conduct onboarding sessions, workshops, and training for tools like GitLab, Port, and AWS Landing Zone features
Coordinate with platform teams to ensure user-friendly documentation for Terraform-based automation in account vending, networking, and security
Produce adoption metrics, identify issue patterns, and propose workflow enhancements
Serve as a communication link between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and deliverables

Requirements

7+ years of expertise in business analysis, process mapping, and stakeholder collaboration
2+ years of leadership experience in relevant roles
Expertise in AWS services, particularly multi-account setups or Landing Zone concepts
Proficiency in Jira for backlog management and Confluence for structured documentation
Strong communication abilities to lead workshops and simplify technical content for varied audiences
Familiarity with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code concepts, with the flexibility to engage in discussions (coding skills not required)
Background in cloud enablement or platform adoption initiatives, especially those involving AWS
Skills in various documentation and diagramming tools, including Lucidchart, draw.io, or Miro

Nice to have

Understanding of GitLab CI/CD workflows and developer portals like Port
Familiarity with the Google Cloud Platform as an alternate cloud environment
