The role:

Our client is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineers to contribute to the development of advanced electronic systems. The role focuses on designing and validating software components for integration into future products, with a strong emphasis on embedded C/C++ development and Linux-based environments.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design and development of embedded systems.
• Analyze functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform architectural analysis and develop software solutions.
• Support system integration and validation activities.
• Document design decisions and technical analyses.
• Apply modern development standards and methodologies.
• Stay current with emerging technologies in embedded software.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded systems development using C/C++.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, V-Cycle).
• Experience with POSIX API and unit testing.
• Familiarity with software architectures and communication protocols.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Assets:

• Experience in cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with OpenCV, Qt framework, and Linux driver development.
• Knowledge of communication protocols (CAN bus, Serial, DDS).
• Experience with RTOS systems and Atlassian tools (Jira, BitBucket, Bamboo).
• Background in defence or similar regulated sectors.
