As our People Operations & Admin Generalist, you will be the primary point of contact for all operational people matters, ensuring that our teams — from Zurich to Berlin, London, Singapore, and New York — benefit from smooth, compliant, and engaging People processes. This is a hands-on role in which you will manage day-to-day operations across the full employee lifecycle, contribute to global People initiatives, and support culture-building activities as well as company events.

Job Requirements

What makes you a great fit

  • 2–5 years’ experience in People Operations, or a similar role, ideally in an international or scale-up environment
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities independently
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly (experience with HRIS platforms (preferably Hibob), Confluence, JIRA, or similar tools is a plus).
  • Excellent communicator in English (German is a plus), with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Based in Berlin, with 2-3 days a week onsite.
  • hands-on mentality, feeling comfortable in a fast-paced environment, embracing change

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day People Operation functions across the entire employee lifecycle including onboarding and offboarding, contracts, benefits, device management, leave administration, HRIS management (HiBob), expenses, etc.
  • Act as the first point of contact for People-related queries across all Unique AI locations, providing support and guidance to teams in Europe, Singapore, and NY.
  • Maintain and develop onboarding and offboarding materials, processes, and documentation
  • Use People data and insights to help improve processes and guide decision making
  • Partner with Finance to assist with general administrative tasks (e.g. expenses, Preparation of Payroll data, etc.)
  • Support with light office management tasks (e.g. coordinating supplies, organizing team events) as part of our collaborative startup culture.
