6 Month Daily Rate Contract (hybrid role) Dublin, 3 Days per week on site

Our client is a leading financial services company based in South Dublin.

About the Position

We’re seeking a detail-driven Technology Risk Specialist to join our client’s dynamic environment and play a key role in safeguarding their technology landscape. This role blends hands-on risk management expertise with strong collaboration skills, ensuring projects are delivered securely, on time, and in line with industry best practices.

They need a candidate from an Application Management/Risk/Governance background ideally with experience of vulnerability management. Strong knowledge of processes surrounding Application Management (Business Continuity, Risk Deliverables, etc.). In this role you will work with various stakeholders globally so strong communication and time management skills are also important.

Key Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, analysis, and mitigation planning.
• Support risk-related initiatives through accurate procedural documentation and clear communication.
• Identify, track, and coordinate the resolution of technology risks across key deliverables.
• Partner with internal support teams to ensure risk issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
• Maintain compliance awareness in line with relevant regulations, particularly within a financial technology environment.

Experience/Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in technology risk management, ideally in a fintech or regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills – able to convey complex issues clearly to stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to thrive under tight deadlines while maintaining process discipline.
