Devops

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure with Terraform, CloudFormation, and related tools.
• Support the creation of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, GitLab, etc.).
• Deploy and manage core AWS services: SAM, EC2, Lambda, S3, VPC, CloudFront, API Gateway, etc.
• Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting (AWS-native: Coralogic, GuardDuty, Xray, CloudWatch, CloudTrail).
• Collaborate with Development, QA, AppSec, and InfoSec teams to ensure automation and secure deployments.
• Contribute to system documentation and SOPs.
• Mentor junior engineers on best practices and automation strategies.

Skills & Experience – Essential

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a similar role.
• Degree in IT, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure.
• Proficient in CloudFormation, Terraform, and related tools.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting using AWS tools (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Coralogix, etc.).
• Experience with AWS networking: Subnets, Security Groups, WAFs, VPCs.
• Solid understanding of IAM, least privilege, and secure infrastructure design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of delivery.
• Cross-team collaboration skills, able to translate technical details into actionable solutions.
• General infrastructure knowledge in AWS, including EC2, VPC, networking, AD, etc.

Skills & Experience – Desirable

• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions or others).
• Exposure to serverless architectures.
• Knowledge of RDS, EKS, or container orchestration (for future projects).
• Previous experience mentoring or training others in DevOps practices.
• Strong documentation habits – leaving a clear trail for others to follow.
