Senior Data Analyst (Ref:LYIXY)

We are looking for our client, a technology company that develops and delivers complex IT solutions for a top bank in Romania, a Senior Data Analyst.

Objectives

The dedicated Data, Analytics & AI team is driving the organization's transformation into a data-driven enterprise by managing strategic projects in analytics, data governance, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Take initiative in gathering, understanding, and prioritizing business requirements.
• Develop and support functional and technical data analysis solutions.
• Document data architecture, ETL flows, and testing strategies.
• Collaborate closely with solution architects, ETL developers, and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor less experienced colleagues and contribute to best practices in analytics.
• Be the primary trusted partner for business stakeholders, responsible for modeling and documenting complex data flows, and contributing to the standardization of analytical deliverables.

Qualifications

• Higher education in a technical, economic, or scientific field.
• Strong knowledge of banking products and workflows.
• Advanced experience working with DWH/Data Lake environments and BI/Analytics projects.
• Excellent SQL skills (Oracle Database SQL Associate certification is a plus).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum projects and strong ownership of deliverables.
• Clear communication, informal leadership, and a solution-oriented mindset.
