We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with strong Fortinet expertise to design, implement, and maintain secure, high-performance network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Fortinet firewalls and security solutions, along with a solid foundation in networking protocols and enterprise infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure with a focus on Fortinet solutions (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiAP, FortiSwitch, etc.)
  • Implement and manage firewall policies, VPNs (IPSec/SSL), and advanced threat protection.
  • Conduct network monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure uptime, security, and efficiency.
  • Provide L2/L3 support for network-related incidents and service requests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network/security projects, migrations, and upgrades.
  • Ensure network security compliance with organizational policies and industry best practices.
  • Prepare and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, SOPs, and change records.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide escalation support when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3–5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer, with a proven background in Fortinet technologies.
  • Strong expertise in:
  • FortiGate firewalls (policy configuration, NAT, routing, HA setup).
  • VPNs (Site-to-Site, Remote Access, SSL/IPSec).
  • FortiManager & FortiAnalyzer for centralized management/logging.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, SD-WAN, IPv4/IPv6.
  • Experience with other security/network tools (Cisco, Palo Alto, Sophos, Checkpoint, etc.) is a plus.
  • Fortinet NSE certifications (NSE4/NSE5/NSE6 or higher) strongly preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
