About the role:

You’ll join our data team to build the backbone that powers Gilion’s AI-driven financial analysis. Your mission: make customer data analysis-ready and accessible to AI agents in a scalable, automated way. This means building services, data models, and integrations.

• Design, build, and maintain backend services that process and serve customer data for AI agent analysis.
• Define and implement semantic layers and metrics (e.g., lifetime value) to standardize analysis across customers.
• Collaborate with AI orchestration systems to ensure agents have the right tools (MCPs) and data for their tasks.
• Continuously refine automated analysis workflows to improve accuracy, scalability, and robustness.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to expand data capabilities and handle new data types or sources.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and services.
  
  

Background/Profile:

• Experience in analytics engineering or data engineering roles.
• Backend development skills (Python or similar), with ability to build services and APIs.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling and data warehouses.
• Understanding of data quality principles and automated data validation.
• Interest in or exposure to AI-driven data analysis - comfortable working in an environment where AI agents consume your data pipelines.
