Back End Developer

Job Title: Backend Engineer

Location: Krakow, Poland – Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)

Contract Duration: 6 months (extendable)

Start Date: 1st September 2025

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to join a long-term project. The role requires strong expertise in backend technologies, cloud services, and API design, with the opportunity to work on impactful enterprise-scale applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services with Java (8/11/17).
• Build REST APIs and GraphQL schemas.
• Work with NoSQL data models (Azure Cosmos NoSQL).
• Implement data streaming solutions with Confluent Kafka.
• Develop scalable applications using Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Cloud.
• Ensure secure authentication/authorization (OAuth 2.0, MSFT EntraID).
• Deploy and monitor applications using Azure Cloud Services.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong background in Java, REST API, GraphQL, and NoSQL.
• Hands-on experience with Spring frameworks and cloud-based solutions.
• Familiarity with authentication protocols and cloud security.
• Knowledge of Azure services; AI skills are a plus.
