About the GenAI Team:


The GenAI (Generative AI) team is at the forefront of applying the latest advancements in artificial intelligence to optimize customer experience, streamline operations, and drive digital transformation within GPC. We leverage state-of-the-art AI techniques, such as natural language processing (NLP), and generative models, to create cutting-edge products and solutions.

Position Purpose:

As a Senior Associate Product Manager on the GenAI team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of GPC’s AI-driven products. You will work closely with engineering, data science, and business to identify opportunities, define product features, and ensure the successful delivery of AI products that drive business outcomes.

You will need to balance business objectives with technical feasibility, serve as the bridge between stakeholders, and create roadmaps to deliver innovative solutions that meet business needs and enhance internal processes.


Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy: Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to define and drive the product strategy for GenAI initiatives, ensuring alignment with GPC’s overall business goals.
  • Roadmap Planning: Develop, prioritize, and maintain the product roadmap for AI-driven features and capabilities, ensuring it reflects business priorities.
  • Metrics & KPIs: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, and use data-driven insights to optimize product performance.
  • Requirement Gathering: Work with stakeholders (internal teams, senior leadership, and business stakeholders) to gather and translate business needs into detailed technical requirements and user stories for the development teams.
  • Collaboration: Partner with data scientists, engineers, and business teams to manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to launch and continuous iteration.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends in AI, competitive landscapes, and customer behavior to inform product development.
  • User-Centric Approach: Use customer feedback, user research, and data analytics to continuously improve the product and ensure that AI solutions meet real-world user needs.
  • Agile Leadership: Lead product development in an agile environment, ensuring the timely delivery of features while balancing scope, quality, and time constraints.

Requirements

  • A degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent years of experience is preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in product management, preferably in AI/ML.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies such as machine learning, natural language processing, deep learning, or generative models.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
  • Proven experience working in an agile development environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Experience in the B2B and retail business is a plus.
