Job Description: ICS Cybersecurity Analyst

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, Mechatronics, Cybersecurity, Electronics, or related field.
Diploma holders in the above disciplines may qualify with 10+ years of relevant experience in industrial environments.

Required: Minimum 5 years of ICS/OT Cybersecurity experience within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Chemical facilities.
Preferred: 7+ years of ICS/OT Cybersecurity experience in heavy industrial environments.

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of ICS/OT cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and practices.
Experience with bare metal hypervisors (MS Hyper-V) and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI).
Hands-on expertise in network troubleshooting, log analysis, and incident response.
Ability to manage patching, antivirus updates, backups, and system restoration for OT assets.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor, manage, and maintain security posture of ICS/OT systems including patches, antivirus updates, and system backups.
Conduct firewall and security log reviews to detect threats, anomalies, intrusions, or abnormal behavior.
Investigate and escalate cybersecurity incidents in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
Perform network troubleshooting, traffic analysis, and service request resolution for security-related issues.
Participate in incident response, forensics, and investigations involving network breaches or unauthorized data access.
Support preparation of regular vulnerability reports, threat assessments, and cybersecurity dashboards.
