We are seeking a talented and motivated Web Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function, according to our clients' specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites and web applications
  • Write well-designed, testable, efficient code using best software development practices
  • Create website layout/user interfaces using standard HTML/CSS practices
  • Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
  • Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
  • Create and maintain software documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers


Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
  • Proven work experience as a Web Developer or similar role
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
  • Familiarity with at least one server-side programming language (e.g., PHP, Python, Ruby, Java)
  • Experience with responsive and adaptive design
  • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
  • Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Experience with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB)
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with one or more frontend frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and ensuring that applications adhere to them
  • Familiarity with build tools such as Gulp or Webpack
  • Understanding of accessibility and security compliance
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design principles
