Senior .NET Engineer

Avenga is looking for an experienced Senior .NET Engineer to join our team. The project is a leading platform that accelerates digital transformation in the restaurant industry by helping customers deliver more personalized and profitable guest experiences.

As a Senior .NET Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and architecting robust, scalable .NET-based systems while ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry best practices.

This is you:

• 5+ years of professional experience in modern C# and .NET ecosystem
• Solid knowledge of ASP.NET Core, Dapper, Polly, SQL Server, PostgreSQL
• Experience designing and maintaining public APIs or libraries
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
• Practical knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, Sumo Logic, or similar)
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
• Experience with Kafka, message queues (AWS SQS), and distributed service communications
• Working knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Background in supporting production system
• Solid knowledge of ASP.NET Core, Dapper, Polly, SQL Server, PostgreSQL

• Experience with F#

This is your role:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend services and APIs using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core
• Build and optimize database solutions leveraging SQL Server and PostgreSQL
• Design and maintain public APIs or libraries with strict versioning and backward compatibility requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable cloud-native solutions (with AWS as the preferred cloud platform)
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using modern tools such as GitHub Actions, TeamCity, and Octopus
• Ensure system reliability and performance by integrating monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, and Sumo Logic
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
• Work with distributed communication technologies like Kafka and AWS SQS
• Manage infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
• Provide operational support for production systems, ensuring stability, reliability, and scalability
