Power BI Developer

Forte Group is looking for an experienced Insights Developer with strong skills in Power BI, Tableau, data modeling (SSAS, Snowflake), and workflow automation to help build and maintain existing analytical infrastructure, including flows and dashboards, and custom data models to support ad hoc and ongoing analytical projects.

Responsibilities

Microsoft:

• The ability to write and troubleshoot Microsoft’s MDX/DAX coding languages.
• Build and manage dashboards in Power BI Desktop.
• Manage analytical resources in Power BI Service.
• Assist in creating new reports in Power BI Report Builder, drawing data from SASS Cubes and Snowflake.
• Setting up multistep flows in Power Automate to ensure effective delivery of assets.

Tableau:

• Building complex dashboards and analytical infrastructure in Tableau Desktop.
• Necessitating knowledge of parameters and Tableau’s function language.
• The ability to build and troubleshoot flows in Tableau Prep Builder.
• Familiarity with Tableau Cloud.

Qualification

• Proven experience developing and managing dashboards in Power BI Desktop and Tableau Desktop.
• Strong proficiency in MDX, DAX, and SQL for writing and troubleshooting queries.
• Hands-on experience managing analytical resources in Power BI Service.
• Skilled in creating reports with Power BI Report Builder, drawing data from SSAS Cubes and Snowflake.
• Experience setting up and managing multi-step workflows in Power Automate for efficient delivery of assets.
• Advanced knowledge of Tableau parameters and function language for building complex dashboards and analytical solutions.
• Proficient in building and troubleshooting data flows in Tableau Prep Builder.
• Familiarity with Tableau Cloud environments and deployment practices.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices in BI environments.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to translate business needs into analytical solutions.
