What You’ll Do
At Permutable AI, we’re building intelligent systems to automate market analysis using advanced NLP and multi-LLM frameworks. Our goal is to dramatically accelerate how financial information is processed, understood, and acted on, enabling faster, smarter decisions for financial analysts. As a small, ambitious startup, you’ll work directly with our founder and a core team of talented engineers to drive innovation.
What You’ll Do
- Design & Maintain Scalable Infrastructure – build and manage cloud environments powering our AI-driven applications.
- Implement CI/CD Pipelines – automate testing, deployment, and monitoring using GitHub Actions, Docker, and IaC tools.
- Manage Cloud Services on AWS (Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, Redshift, etc.), ensuring performance, security, and cost efficiency.
- Orchestrate Workflows – help productionise model and data pipelines with tools like Apache Airflow.
- Monitor & Improve Reliability – set up observability, logging, and alerting to keep systems resilient and responsive.
- Collaborate & Innovate – work closely with engineers to streamline processes, solve problems, and improve delivery.
- 2–3 years of professional DevOps/SRE experience (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and Infrastructure as Code tools (Pulumi, Terraform, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes/ECS).
- Solid understanding of monitoring, logging, and performance optimisation.
- Strong academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, ideally from a top-tier university.
- Startup mindset: proactive, resourceful, ambitious, eager to learn, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-moving environment.
- Bonus: experience with Apache Airflow, data engineering workflows, or AI/LLM deployments.
- Hybrid Flexibility: Spend 2+ days/week in our Vauxhall hub.
