Location: Melbourne preferred (open across Australia)

Engagement: 3 months (immediate start, high possibility of extension)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Application Architect to develop detailed application separation plans and supporting artefacts. The role will provide end-to-end application oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Hands on experience across delivering detailed application separation plans and supporting artefacts
• Oversee and coordinate the outputs of Application Architecture
• Provide strategic guidance and high-level architectural roadmaps to support business transformation
• Ensure alignment with SIAM governance, service modelling, and separation requirements
• Drive design of operating models to support post-separation environments
• Consolidate and present architecture decisions, risks, and dependencies to senior stakeholders
• Support preparation of artefacts for governance, readiness, and completion milestones

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as an Application Architect in large-scale transformation programs
• Strong track record overseeing service architecture
• Knowledge of SIAM governance, service integration, and separation activities
• Deep understanding of application separation
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to align multiple streams of work
• Business divestiture or M&A program experience highly desirable
