Network Engineer

Are you passionate about telecom and excited by the evolution of Radio Access Networks? If so, we’re looking for a Senior RAN Network Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of mobile connectivity at Telia.

In this role, you’ll be part of a highly skilled RAN team responsible for software change management and third-level support. We work closely with customers and stakeholders to ensure the best possible network experience. I’m Anders Larsson, leading the RAN Operation & Ericsson Change team, and I’m proud to work with such a dedicated and talented group of people.

As a Network Engineer…

Communication is key in this role, as you’ll be hosting training sessions, creating guidelines, and participating in development projects. Who We’re Looking For…

To succeed, you will need a solid understanding of Radio Access Networks, especially Ericsson’s base stations and related technologies. Experience working with node configuration in Ericsson Network Manager (ENM) is valuable, and familiarity with scripting technologies like Amos, Bash, or Python is a plus. Knowledge of RAN quality metrics, such as MCDR, Accessibility, Retainability, and MDS, and a general understanding of IP (TCP/IP) for troubleshooting the transport network will strengthen your profile. While experience with automation and older technologies like 2G/BSC is advantageous, what matters most is your passion for delivering high-quality results and your ability to grow into the role. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is required for this position.
