About The Opportunity

FlatGigs is hiring on behalf of our sister company fast-growing technology company that is re-architecting its infrastructure to support a truly cloud-agnostic strategy. The goal? To move from an Azure-centric setup to a scalable, flexible infrastructure that works seamlessly across Azure, AWS, and GCP.

We're looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer who can take the lead in designing, implementing, and operationalizing this transformation. If you enjoy working at the intersection of cloud engineering, automation, and scale — this role offers the autonomy and impact to shape global infrastructure from the ground up.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Infrastructure Transformation: Lead the shift from single-cloud (Azure) to multi-cloud (Azure, GCP, AWS).
  • Cloud-Agnostic Patterns: Design and implement scalable, portable architecture.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Build and maintain reusable templates using Terraform, Pulumi, or similar.
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot workloads in Kubernetes.
  • CI/CD & GitOps: Work with developers to optimize pipelines and deployment workflows.
  • Monitoring & Reliability: Set up observability, logging, and alerting systems across distributed environments.
  • Collaboration: Partner with engineering teams to ensure security, compliance, and scalability at every layer.

Requirements

What We're Looking For (Must-Have Skills)

  • 4+ years of DevOps/SRE experience with modern infrastructure practices.
  • Containerization: Hands-on Docker expertise.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Solid experience with Terraform, Pulumi, or similar.
  • Kubernetes: Proven ability to deploy, manage, and troubleshoot clusters.
  • Multi-Cloud Exposure: Practical experience with at least two of Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Bonus Points (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Professional software development experience (Python, Go, Java, C#, or Node.js).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
  • Familiarity with monitoring & observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance in multi-cloud environments.
