Project Manager

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager to join our team at a project site, to be based near Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the end-to-end execution of a utility-scale solar project, ensuring successful delivery in terms of safety, time, cost, quality, and compliance. The Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction, EHS, and commissioning to meet project goals while maintaining strong stakeholder and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of the solar power project (EPC scope or EPCM).
• Manage multi-disciplinary teams (engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC, EHS, commissioning) to deliver the project as per the contractual scope, schedule, and budget.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure project execution complies with contractual obligations, technical specifications, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
• Monitor and control project performance using tools and KPIs—progress, cost, schedule, and quality.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of equipment and execution of works.
• Conduct regular project reviews and report on risks, issues, progress, and mitigation strategies.
• Oversee documentation, permit requirements, inspections, and compliance with statutory/regulatory approvals.

Qualifications And Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in managing utility-scale solar (PV) projects.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering solar PV projects of 300 MW or more, preferably in EPC/EPCM environments.
• Knowledge of BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) and PSS (Power Substation System) integration is advantageous.
