Senior Core .Net Developer - Insurance P& C Domain

Role Description:

• Design a RAML file meeting service specifications provided

• Use RAML and TDD to develop microservices adhering to architecture requirements and current microservice designs

• Setup builds in TFS to run CI tests and deploy services and database project changes

• Pull new work from sprint backlogs as work is completed

Competencies: Visual C++, Core .NET Technologies

Desirable Skills:

• Insurance knowledge or Solid understanding of the P&C industry

• WCF

• Blazor, Redux

• TFS Source control

• Git

Experience (Years): 8-10

Essential Skills:

• University Degree or college diploma in computer science, information systems or a related discipline.

• 4+ years of experience in REST and microservice design • Testing practices, knowledge of MSTest, Process Tests and Unit Tests• ADO, Stored procedures and functions

• RAML

• Break down work so blocking issues can be foreseen or work can continue until they are resolved

• Effectively communicate changing needs and information requirements to analysts and other developers

• Read other projects and follow patterns presented appropriately, but able to present new ideas effectively

• Able to produce effectively on your own with a little direction

• SQL Server
